“I’m his translator.”

Cortos by Alberto Fuguet

After reading Ron Charles piece about the value of signed copies, I thought I’d share this with you. The author, Alberto Fuguet, wrote “Ezra, here you are in Spanish,” which is something of a Borgesian reference to the fact that I’m his translator, and that soon enough this book would be published in the U.S. “Alberto, here you are in English,” I emailed him, when the translation was released.
